This Ceylon Tea OP (Orange Pekoe), like all true Ceylon teas, comes from Sri Lanka, which was known as Ceylon until 1972 and although the name of the country changed, the name of the teas which come from it have not.
A mountainous island south of India, Sri Lanka has a superb tea growing climate and environment. Grown at more than a mile above sea level, this single estate leaf is an internationally renowned Ceylon tea with a full flavour, is light in colour, toasty and smooth. The tea grower, Mr. W.A. Siripala, and his team consider this OP Ceylon Tea to be the finest quality of tea available.
